PREFACE TO CLAN HISTORY SECTION
The following articles have been published in various 2011-1018 issues of "Robertson’s Rant", the Mid-Atlantic Branch newsletter. These are now arranged in historical sub-sections to provide clanfolk with an easier format to learn about our clan heritage.
Jim Fargo, our branch Sennachie, began writing for the Clan Annual, other Scottish publications and this newsletter beginning in 1981. Many of these articles had their genesis from reading a one or two sentence reference to some event briefly mentioned in our published clan history books. Researching other sources allowed those topics to be expanded and tell the full story of those events.
As time permits, additional articles from this 30-year period will be retyped and added to this collection with appropriate dates of original publication. In addition, new articles of clan interest will be published in future issues of the "Rant".
